Fresh Life Church — Kalispell, MT
Fresh Life is one of those churches that takes their creative seriously — and it shows. I got to photograph their worship gatherings and it was honestly one of my favorite shoots. There's something about live music and genuine community moments that makes for really compelling images.
The goal was simple: get photos that actually feel like what it's like to be in the room. Not staged, not stiff — just the real thing. Photos their team could use across social, web, and anywhere else they needed to show up well.
The Brief
Fresh Life needed photos that could do double duty — work on social media and represent the culture of their church to anyone discovering them for the first time. They didn't want polished-but-fake. They wanted the energy of the room captured honestly.
That's the kind of brief I love. No stiff poses, no forced smiles — just good light and good timing.
The Work
I shot across the full event — from the production setup and soundcheck through the live set. The idea was to give their team a full library they could pull from, not just a handful of hero shots.
"Good church photography isn't about making it look bigger than it is. It's about making it look like what it actually is — and that being enough."
If your church needs photos that actually reflect your culture and give your team something to work with, I'd love to help. I work with churches across Tennessee and beyond.
