Real stories.
On someone's face.

Josh Soliz produces testimonial videos for nonprofits, churches, and businesses across Tennessee. A single-subject testimonial, one shoot day, full edit, hero cut and social clip, starts at $1,800. Delivered within 10 business days.

A written case study tells people what happened.
A testimonial video shows it on someone's face.

For nonprofits and churches, that difference is the margin between a donor who reads and moves on and one who gives. Testimonial video is the format most likely to be shared, replayed, and remembered, viewers retain 95% of a message from video versus 10% from text.

The most effective testimonial videos are 2–4 minutes for a hero cut, with a 60–90 second social version edited from the same footage. That's the standard deliverable from every JSM testimonial project.

Common questions.

How long is a testimonial video?

The standard hero cut is 2–4 minutes, long enough to tell a complete story, short enough to hold attention. Every project also includes a 60–90 second social cut for Instagram and Facebook. If you need a 15–30 second clip for ads or Reels, that's available as an add-on.

How do you prepare interview subjects?

Before the shoot, Josh sends a written prep guide to each subject. It covers what to wear (solid colors, no logos), what to expect during the shoot, and how to answer interview questions naturally in complete sentences. For first-timers, he also offers a 15-minute coaching call. The goal is for subjects to arrive feeling prepared, not nervous.

What if my subject gets nervous on camera?

This is common and expected, especially with trauma survivors, elderly subjects, or people who've never been interviewed on video. Josh runs interviews at a conversational pace and doesn't push for perfect takes, he keeps asking until the subject's natural voice comes through. In 6+ years of interview production, he's helped dozens of reluctant subjects get comfortable. It's part of the job.

How many cuts do I get?

Every single-subject project includes a hero cut and one social cut. Multi-subject series include hero and social cuts for each subject. Additional cuts, platform-specific lengths, additional social versions, are available at $150–$300 each.

Can you film at our location?

Yes. All testimonial shoots are filmed on-location at your office, facility, church, or a location of your choosing. Josh handles his own lighting and audio setup, he doesn't require a studio. If your space is tight or logistically challenging, flag it in your inquiry and he'll work through it with you in advance.
